As we designed our new house with an architect, he asked that we brainstorm ideas no matter how impractical. I suggested it would be awesome if we had motion sensing night lights in the bedroom for that inevitable middle-of-the-night bathroom trip.
To my amazement, the contractor found a way to make it happen. As I drifted off to sleep my first night, I was comforted by my brilliant idea for safety.
Within minutes, I realized how wrong I was. This week’s Musings and Tales is a cautionary story, but one that will make you laugh at the obvious pitfalls. Well, obvious if you aren’t me.
